That's good news. I found these pictures of them.
Fiat G.55
Reggiane Re.2000
I don't know the status on these as I can't speak Italian.

The Reggiane has been flyable for a long time. I got it as part of the mod pack from this site:
I don't recommend the pack, as it uses its own buttons file and does not include some AAA flyables, but the Reggiane is interesting (it was used by the Hungarians against USAAF Lightnings).

That's all fine and good about the Re.2000, but I'm interested in the G.55, G.56, G.59, and Re.2005. I want the advanced Series 5 fighters and their derivitives. Afterall, the best Italian fighter we have in the game is the Macchi Mc.205 which was and is rated third best in comparison to the G.55 and Re.2005. Oh yeah, I didn't see a spot to change languages on the fourms portion where they have the pages on the planes.

This is certanly odd!
I asked around in Diavoli Rossi and they said the Reggiane wasent ready yet, so this "pack" might include some sort of beta. Plus the lads of the italian squadron who are making the G 55 and the Re-2000 havent released a thing, if theres any member of the 6th Stormo Diavoli Rossi out there please let us now whats going on with thoose planes and if are they going to be released on AAA.
Kindest Regards!

Re installation of this pack, it's really just a question of reading the thread. I'll leave it to the producers of the pack to comment, if they want to.
When I say I wouldn't recommend it, that's simply because it's very much an in-house squad pack optimized, I think, for people playing SEOW, so it has certain drawbacks for other players. It has a lot of improvements to AAA mods, some of which are very welcome, but it has the disadvantage that one cannot add new slot aircraft as AAA releases them; AAA's buttons files are not compatible.
I don't know where the Re2000 model comes from, but it says this in the Readme:
Re2000.
The design was taken from the Sikorsky P35 (same design progression as P36, P40 and even the P47) although it has a Piaggio engine, Italian Cockpit & guns and has a very Italian feel about it. Uses LAL_ROne's Curtiss Hawk FM as basis but with Piaggio engine.
Fortunately for the Allies the Italian government initially rejected it for political reasons and by the time it was produced , it was outclassed. (Chap)
(Pordi is doing a Hungarian Version of the cockpit, the Hungarians built 200 of them under licence and nicknamed them 'Rata Killer'...with luck we may even see a new 3d external in the long run.)

The Hungarian version (MAVAG Heja II) was somewhat different - uprated engine much tightly cowled than the Italian Re.2000 (which the Hungarians called Heja I), also different guns - still 2x.50 but the Hungarian Danuvia guns were faster than the Italians...

I confirm that the Re.2000 has not yet been released to the public, the one contained in the modpack above is surely an older beta, obtained (I don't know how) without any permission form the authors, and should be removed from that site.
Also I kindly ask the moderators to remove the link to that site from this thread
Thanks
