P-39 Victory - Jaypack44 - 15.07.2009

Hi all, I've been working on this one off and on for a few days, I'm not sure if I'm totally finished with it yet, but I thought I'd share it anyway. This is my 2nd or 3rd attempt at adding smoke, and my 2nd at doing props. Again, the only effects added were a little softglow and motion blur. The planes are from IL2:1946, P-39 skin by RONNCO and the 109 skin by me. The background is a picture I took on a recent flight to Michigan.

I like the Bf-109 with gear down, very realistic (impact on the hydraulic system), very well thought :wink:

awesome love that the 109's gear are down! Only one flaw i see: The P-39's prop is a little off in perspective but other than that its beautiful! Great work!

Great composition, but I would suggest a bit of light in the planes, it looks like a sunny day, and they seem too dark compared to the ambient lightning.
