Hurricane Mk.IIa "For Motherland"
Serial - BM959 609th IAP, Baltic Fleet
of Lt.Ivan Babanin.

In 6 April 1942 it was shot down by Finnish antiaircraft guns near Tiiksarvi, Eastern Karelia. Aircraft was
reassembled my Finnish technicians for spares which were used for repairing HC465 Hurricane aircraft.

Note: Lt.Ivan Babanin was forces down, and later captured by the Finns.
