F9F Panther Template "update?" - US_GRANT - 16.07.2009

Just wanted to share a few screen shots of my Panther template. Been working on it for a bit trying to get some new info put into it. the latest is the addition of just about every rivet the thing ever had.

These first two show the rivets as most folks would see them IRL. The plane is covered with a heavy layer of paint to the rivets look more like the ribs and not very easy to see.

The next one shows them with more definition so you can see better where they are. These would show up more as the paint is worn off or on a bare metal plane.

I'll post the template for download in the DL section once I get everything cleaned up. The rivet layers will be layed out so that they can be adjusted for each major section of the plane so skinners can make "customizations" to suit their tastes. I also added a few new panels and wing fold "Lugs" that you can see on the first pic.

Anyway, if you choose to use it, I hope you enjoy it.

Fantastic. Please post a notice and/or a DL link here when it's available.

Finally, we get some rivets on the Panther. She looked so naked without them.
