ive just done a mission, and it said "mission complete", if i land and click "exit mission" does it still count as completed mission?? or does it just act as a run out???

It just means that any targets were completed ...by you or the AI.....but in a campaign you can safely stop there. If you choose to go on and land and mess it up by dying...you have to repeat the mission.
