nothing happens after downloading my first MOD - beekeeper - 19.07.2009

Hi
I have tried tonight my first download (the Me 410). I think I have followed what was asked, but at the end nothing happened and the game was just as before.
What went wrong ?
I suspect having simply located the downloaded files in the Ubisoft/il2 1946, including the me410 MOD was not sufficient or the right thing to do.
Can someone help me ?

Have you downloaded the unified installer 1.1? (The link is inoperative)
Most, if not all mods will not work straight into a fresh 4.08 install, there at least needs to be a mod activator. If you download UI 1.1, the Me-210 and 410 are in it already as well as plenty of others.

P.S.
You should have posted this in the "IL2 TECHNICAL HELP" section. It will probably be moved anyway but it's easier for everyone if topics are kept together in the first place :wink:

Lol, you poor man, you are getting batted around by the moderators a bit, and now I am going to do the same!

We dont mean badly, so dont take it personally. But I am also not going to let this forum be filled with things that can be solved by a little reading. You should go to the FAQ topic in the top of this Technical Help forum, and find "the idiot's guide to IL2 modding".

That will expain thing better, and then go download the ui if you wish.
