Any problems with other games?

Driver update gone bad? Try to install new drivers.

What card, Ati or Nvidia?

- Fryslanboy - 25.07.2009

I've installed the newest drivers, it's a Nvidia 9600GSO

i will try some other games

EDIT: overheating isn't the problem, i never have problems with overheating..

hi,

No expert but been playing since it came out , i believe the problem can be a lot of things, but i have had grafical errors before & it all comes down to the following:

1. overheating
2. need more memory
3. settings too high
4. heavyly loaded missions, big maps, too many a/c, lots of clouds /bad weather... etc
5.not enough power getting to g/card.
6. a bit off all of the above Big Grin

i've excluded drivers as i assume you've had it for a while & the problem has just arisen.

First thing you must understand in my opinion- Don't believe that because you have a 9600 you can fly full settings all the time without damaging the card.

initially try reducing everything a bit so your flying on say 3/4 settings & give as more info.

Also search for Bigbossmalone post on a great tutorial he gave a while back, it will help you a lot.

Hope it helps

My best guess from your pics is video memory corruption.
If you've over clocked your GPU, that is most likely the culprit.
As a quick check, try to find someone with the same card and do a quick swap to check it.

Heres a few steps that might fix this issue

1.) open ur computer case and remove the g-card and blow out the pci-e ( or any other slot that holds ur g-card) then put back in
2.) if step one dosent work update
3.) if neither work, check ur config.ini

when did this start happening

I think the problem is solved,

it only happens, when i'm playing the FEAF campaign for the B17..., maybe because of the big Philipines map, and a lot of objects.

When i play with QMB, everything is fine....

But thanks for the comments Big Grin
