Stood on the wing of a C-47 - 78thFG_Doodle - 28.07.2009

Hey guys! My Dad and I got to climb on the wing of a C-47 2 weeks ago at the Arlington EAA Air Show in Arlington, Washington.

Here's my Dad sitting on the engine. Big Grin He flies under the call sign: "328th-Snitchy".

Gotta love the old Skytrain... I remember when one made an emergency landing at our airport during an air show... Very nice

At RAF Shawbury here in good ol' England we were able to fly in a newly renovated C-47.
My Dad soon took the controls (due to him being a vet of WW2 and a leading member of the renovation team)
and promptly told me "It handles like a beast!"
