Here's what I've found out about getting the Panther off a carrier.

1. You may need to use the wind config. mod, be careful not to set the wind to high, but just enough.
2. Watch your fuel load and weapon payload, "weight".
3. Launching off a static carrier no wind, the most you can carry is 25% fuel and clean "no weapons".
4. Lanuching from a moving carrier, make sure your carrier is fulll speed heading into the wind refer back to 1.

You'll soon figure out what fuel% and Payloads you can take, it's somewhat of a trade off "distance vs weapon"
As for the bobbing I don't think author is going to do anything, as it is the final version "done with it".

75% fuel
Tiney Tims
OR
Rockets
Is max load.
The Panther will fly all day on 50% fuel.
Make sure the carrier is going at max speed.
(56Kph I think) 30 MPH
Once in the Cat, set flaps to take off, pull the stick into your belly, go to max power. Once she is all wound up launch.
The SECOND you are clear of the deck get your gear up then all your flaps.
Climb out slowly.

Practice is all it takes.
Us guys in AG26 have it down so I am sure you can.
