Which mod killed my Bf-109 G6? Help please! - Eckhart - 05.08.2009
Some mod killed my original Bf-109 G6 (stock version)
Whenever I want to start a mission with a G6, online or offline, I get this nice picture
Switching back to the original stock version, everthing works well. Therefore this is related to a mod. All other planes work well included recently introduced modded planes.
The only recent modifications I introduced into my mod folders were the new version of the 190 A3, the Halifax, the nightfighter version of the 110, the He 219. Other significant events were a try out of the SAS Seafury with the SAS buttons. After a short trial period I had to switch back to the UI 1.1.1 buttons as you can't go online with the SAS buttons. Right now I use the buttons which are connected to the Halifax.
I tried out my CTR2 version versus my MOD version. No change which means new maps are not responsible for this mess. Running AC installer 3.8 didn't change anything except that I had to go back to the "halifax" buttons as I got a 60% game crash. I disabled all the tropical mods of G2, G4 and G6...nothing

Has anybody an idea how to get my original G6 back to work?
Can you test your own G6 to see if it still works?
Please help!

Did you add any cockpit mods? That usually means there is a conflict with the cockpit and the game wont load it.
Try disabling your new stuff one at a time and see where the culprit lies.

Try this on
(The link is inoperative). I had some time ago the same problem.

thx guys: you were absolutely right....this was due to a corrupted file inside the early G6 folder. I took advantage of this problem to download Freddy's ultimate cockpit pack which has a higher definition

How this file got corrupted? i have strictly no idea!
In any case, it is good to know that the AAA community is out there with a fast response!
Thanks again
