where can i find un modded cockpits of default aircraft in the game, sorry i will wright more at work.

Hi,

First you will need SFS Extractor, which will allow you to extract SFS files, like fb_3do.SFS etc. These files are inside IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 folder and you will find desired cockpits inside them. If you want to modify TGA files, first you need to use TGA Converter or ViewIMF.

though once i have retreved them, can i use photoshop to edit them? i would like to add a persons photo to many plains.

Yes you can, but first use TGA Converter to make them photoshop ready.
