Patch to 4.08m - HELP? - johnsnyder - 05.08.2009

I've installed '46 from the stock DVD and am trying to patch it to 4.08m so I can play online, but so far every time I crank up the game it shows as being a 4.07m version. From a bare-bones install, what exactly do I need to do to get it to 4.08m specs? I'm so confused by all the various mods and downloads now. HELP!!??

Double-click the installer and install it to your il2 root directory. You dont need mods to do this.

And now, if you want mods, easiest way to install them is to install AAA Unified Installer (AAA UI) 1.1

Yes, I installed the Unified Installer but I can't seem to use any of the new aircraft

Run teh version switcher.exe in you il2 root folder and change your game to 4.08 or 4.09 mod.
