HELP! The dreaded 60% crash to desktop! - ex_RAAF_Elecfitter - 07.08.2009
ARGGHHHH I dont know what I did but the damn thing crashes to the desktop at 60%
way way back installed the sound mod, and the unified installer package when it came out. Recently installed the Halifax and the buttons file for it and all was sweet.
Today I was looking at air.ini to try and get work out what I need to do to get mod a/c to work in DCG and bang, now it crashes at 60%. Im sure I didnt change anything but it must have somehow. I was also comparing "leszek957's" Ultr@Pack v 1.6 and I suspect air.ini may have been accidently replaced when I was flicking between the two
How do I restore the correct air.ini?

Have you tried running AC_INSTALLER 3.8 again ?? Might help. When you do get sorted remember to backup your GUI buttons and STD folder every time - its saved me no end of times !!

Lo-ok, trying other mod packs from other sites will often lead to trouble.. I'd strongly recommend backing up the files like air.ini and the buttons files. Check you've the latest AC installer, and also see if there's something you'll need to download for compatibility with whatever non-aaa mod packs you were using

I didnt actually install any non AAA mods, all I did was look at the two air.ini files and somehow it got corrupted
seems nothing is going to fix it, will reinstalling 409_MOD_b1m.exe fix it?
- ex_RAAF_Elecfitter - 08.08.2009
yeah I reckon that is what happened
Well its fixed!
Reinstalled AAA_Community_Installer_ver_1_1 (lucky I still had it onthe hard disk as its a huge d/l) then AC_INSTALLER_v3_8 and its all going again. Now I just have to try and remember what planes and maps I manually added or updated and re-add/update them, starting with the halifax and darwin
