F84 Ordanance - USAFE - 10.08.2009
Any one have any ideas why the F84 Thunderjet does not drop ordanance? All other modded aircraft work fine.
- duffys tavern - 10.08.2009
No problem here. Works fine.
- Gumpy - 10.08.2009
Same here,works fine.
- Brickhacker - 10.08.2009
I can't drop any bombs myself, I just figured it was because its a WIP .
- F22-Raptor-2006 - 10.08.2009
It should drop all ordanance. Check that you are pressing the correct buttons and also you may find that it's on weapon 3 or 4. It works all fine for me. As long as you can see them you should be able to drop them.

Thanks for the help Raptor but unfortunately is still not working for me. Guns working fine but no weopon 3 or 4.
Defective WOW (weight on wheel) Switch? - USAFE - 10.08.2009
Nope, reconfigured the Stick, and no joy, it will not drop ordnance, it will fire the guns. Maybe the WOW switch with in the Programmable Armament Control System is bad, which makes the Jet think it's gear is down and so will not pickle. Sorry, I play with the modern day version of these wonderful jets, and just needed to reassure myself I know what I am talking about.

USAFE,
15's or 16's? WPNS, E/E, or Avionics?
Besides, if the wow is bad you would lose anti-skid as well. Did you notice that on landing? Was the ASP tripped for A/S?
Why land? - USAFE - 11.08.2009
I never land so was unable to troubleshoot that far. E models, Avionics/CrewChief.

Do you have the Bombay doors mod? I
think some one had an issue with a
conflict with this mod and bombay
doors mod.
Bombay Mod Problem? - USAFE - 11.08.2009
Yes, I do have it installed. Would like to deactivate it as prefer automatic door opening, anyone know how to revert back?

Yep. Go into your MODS folder and find the bombaydoors mod and put a minus "-" sign in front of that folder and your bombay doors will revert to auto.
What Sqdn? I was in the 494th. DCC on 0306. Got that hog from Nellis and they did not take care of her. Had to replace BOTH brakes because they were missing almost all the heat shields and one was literally falling apart. I was ready to go to Nellis and beat the old DCC with a wrench.
Unusal to see a pointyhead as a crew chief. What did they do with all the All Purpose Gorillas? Nevermind, don't answer that; might be too embarrising for the Gorillias.

Thanks for the tip. Were you in when the Air Force in their infinite wisdom decided to Rivetize? I cross trained three times!

Oh yeah!!! I was working F-4s when that started. I was RIVETIZED into enigines and Hydraulics. ON THE F-4!!!! Never got to go home clean. Was at the Heath when the AF decided it probably wasn't so smart to have crew chiefs and engines in the same AFSC and pulled them out. Then when I got to Langley, they decided that the enigne guys needed to all be in the back shop instead of the AMUs and that lasted about two years and they decided that wasn't a good idea. All depends on who is in charge at the time.

Hey USAFE,
You get your ordanance problem fixed?
