What to do with disabled mod folders? - Revi 01 - 13.08.2009

Whats the best thing to do with disabled mods? Should I just leave them as disabled in the Mods folder or move them to another folder outside of the game altogether so they dont effect load time?

Hi!,

No, that's not necessary - anything with an "-" in front of it is not loaded at startup. It's as though IL-2 doesn't believe it exists. So, moving the disabled folders anywhere won't improve load times at all. Just let them chill out until you want to enable them again.

Have fun,

OK, thanks for that. Just one thing about the " - " I can only do this by using two ' together. Not a double ", as the computer wont save the ". So is it correct to use two ' ?
Thanks for your help.

He means to just use this -

do not use "-"

The minus key in front of a mod will disable it.

Are you serious? All this time I thought " was to disable. But couldnt understand why the computer wouldnt allow it.
Ok I'm moving on now.
Thanks.
