Physics? - GreenDay2244 - 16.08.2009

Hi,

I've got a question:
I'm under the impression that in IL2 1946 planes explode more easier than in IL2 Forgotten Battles :-?
In this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6NE3G8wxLBQ for example at 0:58 I'm sure the plane would normally explode.
Is there any way to change this, or is the guy in this video using a mod for forgotten battles?

Thank you in anticipation!

Many greetings

Heheheh,

Nah, that's not at full realism - not a mod, either.
To do the same thing, try going into your conf.ini and change "arcade=0" to "arcade=1", or try messing with the difficulty settings.

After that, you might as well dive from angels 10 straight down to earth and the most your pilot
might receive is a nice headache...
Here's to happy landings at 200mph,

Hm, arcade=1 doesn't change anything and I've tried many different difficulty settings.
What should I do?

Thanks

Hi,
Do you have the the "No instant success" set to on? This might help.

that doesn't change anything, too.

Realistic Landings, in the difficulty options? I bounced off the sea in a 200mph dive with that. Rather took me by surprise...
