Now can't get fullscreen - baronbutcher - 22.08.2009
I have previous runned Il-2 1946 in fullscreen at 1920x1080 resolution no problem. Change resolution as recommended by users. Now after installing the mod pack to fly all aircraft nothing works. Loads to 5 percent then nothing happens. I uninstalled all not impressed. :x I have also many skins which I thought I would have to install later being the only problem - NOT SO. Now the problem is after installing a fresh install of IL-2 1946 I can't even configure to full screen now at 1920x080 as before. GOD, it worked before not now WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG. :evil: I tried time again to change configure the resolution to full screen in config file, game itself nothing. It just won't let me choose full screen. GOD I hate mods that stuff up your simulation or game. :evil: PLEASE CAN SOMEONE HELP ME I AM TEARING MY HAIR OUT WITH FRUSTRATION. It has taken the joy out of running this simulation. I just about had it with computers. I luv IL-2 but this is bullshit sitting for ages trying to configure. :evil: It ran before why not now? :???: PLEASE HELP and bring joy back to a disillusion pilot gamer. THANKS MARCUS

go to hardware set up in the game....then video mode and there you just chose full screen.

Thanks VonWaffen but I solved it.
Did try before video mode full screen in game hardware setup but didn't work. Went back to config file and solved it. Some people have suggested different but this works. Not sure about trying the all aircraft mod again after the stuff up and hassles. Screen indicates it loads to 5 percentage, waited ages but nothing. At least I got stuff back to normal. [window]
