Dutch Spitfire MkIXe and Clipped version - GrauerRabe - 22.08.2009
Thanks to the extraordinary template of 96th_Nightshifter I could make some nice skins of a dutch Spitfire MkIXe.

Hi Graue Rabe, nice skins you've made man. Only Dutch Spitfires had markings like H*4 in white on camouflaged ones, as off 1947, black on aluminium - not bare metal -skins as off 1950. And 3W*16 on alu skins as off 1951. They never had a W*16 registration.

Yes I know, but I had to delete the 3, the textures are making odd bends when placed on the fuselage. So I have to get a good grid template of how the fuse bends and what the textures do in relation to that.
Will make some Historically correct ones when I have got the thing above fixed.

It is a piece of art. Wish you could make such a template for the P-51.
Your Template makes skinning a lot easier and less timeconsuming. Only difficulty I had was with the codes on the fuselage. It makes stranges bends on the 3d model.
