Sorry if this has been posted before, but can someone post a link where i could download the 3.2 patch of OPEN GL?

You could have used google and got the driver in no time. While I am here, here is a link to opengl 3.2, downloads are at the bottom of the webpage

Just open you game console during flying by hitting Shift & Tab key and then use arrow keys to navigate up and down
and you can see which OpenGL version you're running .
My GeForce 8800GT just died two days ago and it used to show version OpenGL 2.1.0
Got today and installed a minutes ago new spanking PNY GeForce XLR8 Performance Edition GTS250 with 1GB memory
and it shows with latest driver 190.38 OpenGL version 3.1.0 :lol:

GTS250 is a rebrand of nvidia 9800gtx + so a little rebrand of 8800gts 512 OC

250GTS is pretty exactly identical to 9800GTX+ 512MB card except with GTS250 you can get 1GB memory .

Re shift tab ? - ceege1 - 23.08.2009

Tried the shift tab thing to find out which version I have but it does'nt work for me for some reason. Is there another way to find out what version of open gl you have on your pc ?

Edit the conf.ini file and find the [Console] section then change the entry LOG=0 to LOG=1 and launch IL2. When you quit the game, you will find a file named log.lst, your version of OpenGL is at the 6th line:

[23.08.2009 8:33:57] ------------ BEGIN log session -------------
[8:33:57] OpenGL provider: Opengl32.dll
[8:33:58] OpenGL library:
[8:33:58] Vendor: NVIDIA Corporation
[8:33:58] Render: GeForce 8600M GT/PCI/SSE2

Thanks, found it. I'm running OpenGl 3.1. I've just downloaded Nvidia driver 190.62, do I need to use OpenGl 3.2 and if so how do I get it. Is there a seperate download for this update I could'nt find it when I went to the Nvidia site to get the above driver?

Did you pressed both keys Shift Tab at the same time ? it must work , we all have same setting for accessing console
There is a lot of info about your game set up , driver OpenGL capabilities and what is loaded from video setting configuration
including any error you might have with some files

Yes , you can do it also as Korrigan suggested , just pressing both keys ingame is fast way to know immediately
what's going on with your game set up without having to exit and then looking in to log file...

Hmmm , interesting , we have in this topic like zillion OpenGL versions :lol:

OpenGL 3.0.0
OpenGL 3.1.0
OpenGL 3.2.0

GeForce GTS250 you can get option for 512MB or 1GB or 2GB memory and
it can use a little bit more power .
I can tell , GTS250 is running pretty cool temperature comparing to my previous R.I.P. 8800GT :lol:
Only 40 C at idle and around 60 C under stress with lowest fan speed setting . :drinking:
