5% CTD on Vista - KG64_Ðørvånski - 22.08.2009

Ok, so I got my new computer Big Grin a VAIO with a 320 GB harddrive, 4 GB RAM, and a 2.53 Ghz CPU. I installed Il2 to a folder in My Documents that i called Il-2 Sturmovik 1946, and the UI. Il2 standalone works fine, but the UI crashes it at 5%. This is the third installaton of modded Il2 that I have done (on 3 computers), and every time I've had problems. I am pretty sure that I forgot to delete something, but I'm not sure. Thanks 8)

I think that things installed into My Documents folders, have the same sort of issues as things installed in My Programs folder. Can you try moving your entire U.I. game into a folder in C:\ ?

Why would you need to delete something?

i uninstalled it and reinstalled it into a C:/ file, but the same problem happened. on my brothers computer, a vista as well, i installed it do a folder in My Documents, and it worked fine. it should be compatible with my computer though :?

Well, make sure sound setting is 44.1 KHz, as that can cause a 5% CTD.

thank you, I will try that Smile i am at a library now as we have no internet, but i will try it when we get home Big Grin and other ideas would be appreciated, just so i can get it up without having to come back here again Tongue

never mind, I was just looking at the German forum and saw a topic like mine and it said you install V4.08 before UI. which i did not do. sorry for the trouble, i can't believe i made this mistake
