MOD Extraction Tool? -

hello,
Can anyone say if there's a MOD extraction/removal tool :?:
I understand there's a tool to extract/remove MOD sounds,
but what about MODS :?:
Some way of totally removing all mods from
my system leaving just the IL2 1946 install.
Having difficulty with the U.I v1.0 & v1.1.1
which as I have installed & uninstalled recently
I suspect that there's some modded item still
lurking around on my system which is causing
problems with a fresh install of v1.0 :?
Any gen help appreciated
Regards

Maybe to try out IL-2 Mod Switcher, so you could switch mods off and have vanilla IL-2 or to turn them on again (if needed).

You don't need a mod extraction tool to delete mods
To revert back to just IL2 you just need to rename or delete the Mods and files folders and that will turn all the Mods off.
If your Mods are 1.0 then rename to MODS.1.0.Org and Files.1.0.org and then run the 1.1 installer and it will install 1.1
or you could also just run the 1.0 and install another fresh 1.0 install into your game.
I actually run an install with 1.0 and 1.1.1 in the same game switching versions by simply renaming the two sets of folders back and forth.
There is no need to have two separate installs of IL2 and all that wasted hardrive space to run both versions 1.0 and 1.1.1
Easy

Here is a link to running multiple modded installs>

I'm pretty sure it's the virtual side of Vista that's causing the
issues  at last some light

I installed IL2 and run it is on a completely different drive than C: so there has been no issue for me with Vista.
I use "Take Ownership" also and have disabled the annoying UAC as well.
So far since January when I purchased a new PC with Vista, I have had no trouble
It helps to create a folder named Games on your C;Drive and then install IL2 into there!
