Need help with Trackir4 plz. - FlyingShark - 23.08.2009
Hi,
I have a small problem with my trakir4. Everything works fine untill each time I light up a cigarette, my view starts turning in all directions except to where it has to. It's not a joke and it's really annoying. Anybody else experienced this and know the solution?

No offense but, shouldn't that be obvious?
The track ir is light sensitive so the cigarette light is well... a light 
. Try and make sure that there isnt any glare going into the Ir lens. Try to turn off all artificial lights in the room so the signal won't be distorted. To get full use of your track ir either don't smoke when playing or make sure the ir lens is away from the light.Hope that helps

Don't smoke while flying!
It confuses the TrackIR camera as it picks up the light up of you puffing your smoke, similar to having a window with bright sunlight coming through it.
You may be able to adjust the light sensitivity to not pick the lit end of your smoke up,but I think refraining from smoking while flying would work better :wink:

Got same problem every time I take a sip of my beer can..
TIR go bananas..
Especially when "bottoms up" :

adjust light sensebilety( i smoke too) and have a button to resenter trk ir!
then no problem
