"President Patton" Missions - 1946+... - KiloGolfPapa - 24.08.2009
What if....General Patton has been elected President - so the war continues....
Germany has been taken by the Russians (so they have all their aircraft) and Japan has been occupied by US forces (so they have all their aircraft).
I have noticed a few people saying that there are not enough campaigns and missions for the MiGs, Sabres, F-84s etc. These are the first two in a series of missions to help plug this gap. They are designed to be used with Zuti's Moving Dogfight mod, but can be flown as Co-ops if you prefer. Just save them in your Coop folder for this option.
I have had problems saving missions on the Korea map, so these missions are set in Okinawa and Riga.

Check for updates in a week or so - I will do some more of these, and extend the Okinawa mission.
Enjoy (and don't take it too seriously - remember it's only a game!!)
Thanks to zuti for the MD mod, AJD-NZ, Wimbly, Iain, Monty, Smeg and Sora for advice, companionship and good natured abuse, and to CIA Flying Roo and RickyRoss (wherever you are) for testing the early versions of the Riga missions.
Salud all

Plane List for President Patton missions - KiloGolfPapa - 24.08.2009
In addition to stock UI 1.1 planes, you will need the F-84; X-86 Sabre; Mig 15 and F9F2 Panther. Thanks to all those brilliant modders for making these fantastic planes - I was always a bit anti-jet, but I can't help myself - I just love 'em!
Salud!

Hi
I have just updated these missions - added one extra one and put in some carriers for both sides in each one. I have fixed a bug also which saw red or blue bases being lost too early in each of the first two missions. If you want some fun, try a Me163 off a carrier deck - easy to take off, but not so easy to land! Heaps of laughs.
Enjoy

Rubbish- Germany never had a monopoly on jet aircraft designs. American and British designs in some cases predated those of Germany. They just had to try to get some of them operational sooner rather than later, out of desperation.
