Airshow B-17 Start and Taxi - db605-A/S - 25.08.2009

Hi All!

Last weekend we went to the Selfridge Airshow in Michigan. It is a free airshow put on by the Air National Guard. The US Air Force Thunderbirds were present and put on a great show.
It rained a good part of the day but the turn out was HUGE! At the end of the show Die hards like me wait around to watch the warbirds start up and taxi out, on thier way home. Lucky us we got a front row seat to three great looking war birds. Firstly however, an F-86 Saber, a MIG -17 and a USNAVY Trainer were started in (almost unison) warmed up and left. ( I have more video of the Saber taxiing out). The three prop aircraft B-17-G (Yankee Lady) B-25 Mitchell (Yankee Eagle), and a C-47 Transport All started nearly at the same time. The B-25 started first but I was in the wrong position to get any video of it. Yankee Lady had just recently flown and was still pretty warm.
