Another template progression: the KI-43-II - Jaypack44 - 28.08.2009

Hi all, I just thought I'd share the progression of another one of my templates, this time for the KI-43-II. I started with the lines and rivets from Bulls_I's KI-43-I template, and the internals from the void. pretty much everything else is my own work, including some entirely new internals, except for a few small internal parts, such as the wheel bays and rear cockpit (Greg Boyington KI-61) prop, (Macwan, I believe) and the gear legs and wheels (RONNCO N1K2 and A6M3, respectively). this is still not 100% done, and I still have a lot to do, such as different camouflage schemes, before I release any skins as part of my generic project. I just thought I'd post to share, and to ask for any feedback y'all might have. let me know if you think anything needs to be changed, adjusted, or otherwise fixed. now for the pics:

The first test, just lines rivets, and the beginning of "surfacing":

progressively adding weathering, touchups, and tweaks:

Anyway, ley me know what you think, and thanks for looking!
