Spit I Landing Gear problem? - WhiskeyBravo - 31.08.2009
I've recently started getting a problem where AI controlled Spit I's will raise their landing gear just as they start moving for takeoff. This inevitaly leads to the a/c crashing and blocking the runway for subsequent aircraft. The subsequent a/c will have the same issue. This happens whether trying to play an FMB mission from within the FMB or as a single or coop mission.
Any ideas?
Regards,
WB.

Hello, mate!
I have confronted with the same problem some time ago, the only difference been that i have been using the Ultr@pack 1.7 mod compilation. There is a buttons file update that might help you down at the Ultr@pack site. I have to warn you that you might lose the CRT=2 compatibility when you apply the update (I am an offline pilot so I do not mind about it).
Here is the Ultr@pack thread in which I discussed the problem:

Many thanks for the link - I have downloaded the file but when I run it I get a ' ....not a valid win32 application' error message.
I've posted on the forum you linked to for more advise.
Thanks again,
WB.

Sorted - it was a duff download. Tried again and the download was OK, the patch fixed the problem.
Thanks for the info,

Are there no problems for online play after that patch?

I can't answer this question unfortunately as I haven't tried it yet. I'll report back if I find any issues but it will be a few days at least due to work committments.
