ATI HD 4890 bug+resolution question - HansHansen - 31.08.2009

in IL2 i get those ugly stripes especally near explosions, in standard an mods version. the 2Gb HD 4890 Vapor-X runs il2 very good (i have ca. 120fps average), but
everytime i see this bug im afraid to get an epileptic seizure


any solutions? or should i try earlier drivers?

PS: i run il2 on 1680x1050 but i get those ugly black bars, any ideas how to get them away? :???:

Hi HansHansen

you need to run ATI version effects mod that is posted in my second post.
Don't forget to read " read me " file included about which other mods needs
to be disabled or removed before using this ATI version mod

no need to be sorry :lol:
we got screenshots just like yours a lot with ATI users until texture problem
was finally fixed with extra ATI only mod version release
What happened ? , you gave up on Nvidia ?

To delete those black bars you will need to change saveaspect=1 to saveaspect=0 from your conf.ini

The whole problem goes away if you go back to the Catalyst 9.5 suite. The later Cats are a mess, FB-wise!
