Suggestion - Wii Balance Board as cheap Rudder Pedals? - marmusman - 01.09.2009

Who is going to develop the software to use the Wii Balance Board as a cheap alternative to rudder pedals (cheap for those who already have a Wii)

Video and code discussion on using Wii Balance Board on PC: http://www.mattcutts.com/blog/linux-wii-balanceboard/

Think you could place Balance Board on 45 degree angle and adjust sensitivity to work like pedals? LOL

Just a random thought.....

I agree, but it is more realistic than twisting my wrist!!

I wonder if the Wii board is really more cheap then a decent set of rudderpedals, but still..

You could try to enable it through GlovePie, TIR4Fun or probably PPJoy and Joy2Key programs?

IIRC it's far more realistic then twisting the joystick with your wrist, i agree with that.
