KI-84 Rework in progress - Jaypack44 - 01.09.2009
Hi all, I've decided to completely redo my KI-84 template, and use it to make some new generic skins. As part of the rework, I've added completely new internals, as the default ones were... yeah... anyways, here's what I have so far, I also toned down the weathering a little bit compared to my old versions, because I've seen more photos of less-weathered birds than very heavily weathered ones, so I tried to make the weathering a bit more representative of the common schemes. anyway, any feedback, especially criticisms and suggestions, is most welcome. thanks for looking!
*I may release the new internals set as a template if anyone's interested- it includes cockpits painted in Aotake, green, and natural metal (to represent early, mid, and late production machines, respectively) as well as optional NMF or Aotake flaps and gear wells. I still need to add a few things, such as the gear legs and engine, but it's nearing completion...
Some early test skins showing the new internals:
Let me know what you think!
Thanks for looking

Looks really good. It would be nice to have some versions of the skins with the hinomaru painted on the white home defence band.

Holy Crap.
Beautiful detail.
The shot of the under carriage and flaps is very impressive.
