Can't choose my plane - Deathsight - 02.09.2009
So yeah, the problem here has to do with the full mission builder, I just can't choose which plane I'll fly on each missions, the way I know to avoid it would be to use the FMB on another computer and take it back to my main computer and play it. It's been like that with all of my maps, so, anyone knows what's going wrong with my FMB ?? I just don't want to install it again.

Yeah Hi Blackjak. I've got the same problem. Have you got the zuti mod in? I think it is causing the problem for me. In my case, because I run all my missions as dogfights it does not matter, as I can select the plane from the home base in the game - any plane on the plane list.
I am trying to find a way around it so I can make coops and allocate planes to "player", but not having much luck so far
. Any way, if you save the El Alamein mission in your dogfight mission folder, and you have the zuti installed, go into "multipalyer", create new server (even though you are playing offline, this will work), and run the mission. You should get red and blue bases with planelists you can choose from, and just jump in whatever plane you like.
Still looking at a way to make coops, but in the meantime, try the above and PM me if any probs.
Enjoy

I'm not quite sure what you're trying to do. It sounds like you are playing a dogfight mission from the FMB, is that it?
As far as I recall, you could never play a dogfight map from the FMB, and be able to choose an aircraft from a Home Base. You could do it with a Single Player mission, as long as you had designated a Player aircraft. Same for Coops, unless you choose a seat for the Player, all you can do is watch everything happen from external views.
Is there something else going on? Please explain a little more.

Ok, usually I play this game offline, the thing with my Full Mission Builder has to do with the facts that everytime I choose my plane, the entire game freezes but not the computer. If I want the game to shutt down, I have no other choice but to shutt down the entire computer.
Obviously enough, I usually play this game as Single-Player.
So far, I avoided to use my Full Mission Builder since the problem had applied to all my maps for a reason I know nothing about. I don't think it has to do with the Zuti thing since I never got to know what it's about so far.
So, the only ways around this bug would be to choose my plane whenever it's the only object you bring on the map before even building an entire mission or just getting the mission from another computer that doesn't have that problem.
Because of this, it's as if my Full Mission Builder is practically useless right now, even then, the Quick Mission Builders still work well enough and the mission already in there show no problem at all.
Of course, the configuration I'm using right now is a half-Vista/half-XP and it already gave me plenty of headaches just to configure it.
Can anyone tell me what I'm dealing with and how to fix it without reinstalling the game ?? So much hard work to install everything I now have for mods so I just don't want it to happen
