F-84 Skins for the 51FIS Virtual Fighter Squadron - US_GRANT - 05.09.2009
I have been making some skins for the 51 FIS for the different Korea jets (Allies) for their unit. This is the latest.
No, it's not historical, but I tried to keep as close as I could but still give them something unique. The Unit patch on the side of the plane is from the 51 FIW from that time period. The wing's motto "Swiftly and Deftly" is in latin on the nose of the acft. The amount of stencils on this plane is only about a quarter of the stencils I found in one photo and I got tired of typing.

hey looking good there grant
any chance I could have a copy of that stencil set when you're done? Also how do you manage to make the words look like words? I found something for the wingtip tank and wrote it with the font but when it was like 2 points you can't see a thing.... yours is actually kinda readable
. Do you do it in big font then resize that layer? cos making the font size small doesn't seem to work very well... :S

Yeah, I write it in a bigger font (in this case 0.2) and write each line separately then line them up close, merge them, then resized the layer. works better for me that way.
