armor - norm - 07.09.2009

i have a 1/72 scale panzer with skirt armor, and in the external armor i would like to have some puncture points from hits taken. any advice? i have a idea witch i will try with some spare styrene, wich is
1. score a asterisk shape in the surface of the plastic,
2. heat a nail
3. press the nail through the plastic at the middle of the asterisk

all opinions and ideas welcom. this is my second tank model. i have just finished a T-34/85, of the same scale, i will post pics tomorrow after noon.

Hmm... How thin is the armor? Where did it get hits? From another tank?

I mean that if the real tank has thin armor even some machinegun shots might do a hole.

i think i have my plan down, but all responsis to the t-84 are welcom.
