German engineers made the trajectory calculations.

They also cleaned out his shorts. Big Grin

I saw a segment on ESPN Sports Nation where they ran a story on how the filmakers said they faked it.

- Thunda - 10.09.2009

Yeah.....a fake I think.

- Vpmedia - 10.09.2009

the plastic pool isnt moving after the landing Wink

- LeBigTed - 10.09.2009

Of Course it's a Fake ;o)

I prefer to watch this : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ESvRVboX4KE

Both! - Planemad - 10.09.2009

The are both good, the first one is better and I don't think it is fake!

- r3vange - 10.09.2009

Fake, but a very fine one.
Anyway according to the simple physics the momentum gained by him would have toppled the pool, besides 0.5m of water is hardly enough to stop a 80kilo man flying with about 50-60 km/h. The impact with this speed in the water would have badly injured his back maybe brake something inside.

P.S Come to think of it I think the video was Microsoft commercial or something

- Guest - 10.09.2009

LOL, I've done that easy peasy Big Grin

- ISO 1994-17/07 - 10.09.2009

Well, i don't hope it took too many times to try, that would be a bit much hurting ...
