LOL! He's right! What the heck is wrong with that thing? It seems like it's trying to leap right out of the water!

I wish I could fix this, it mean any missions I make with the JU-53 sea plane and tho be an airstart!

Workaround is to click A to change to autopilot until engines have started.
For some reason the bouncing settles down when under AI control.
Then you can take off. But I'm afraid this is another example of the stock AI being very unrealistic for planes which were not originally intended to be piloted in the game.
At the risk of having this thread locked, is there a case for relaxing the FM modifying rule for aircraft which were never flyable before the mods were introduced? The Avenger is another which comes to mind.

All I can say is be patient.

It is quite hilarious hehehe.
The way I bypassed the jumping is to get the plane to take off
on land.It doesn't have to be far onshore for it to work

Anybody thought of adding an invisible bottom hull? PS, I have it spawn on land right by the ocean facing the shore, and it can taxi into the water.

I totally forgot about this problem! haha it is pretty comical to watch, but a big pain if you want to make a real mission using it. I successfully took off without autopilot once, but ruined 1 or 2 of the engines before i got off the ground. it's quite a challenge!
