Question/Request: Mods via JSGME? - kikegg - 13.09.2009

Just returned to IL-2 after a long time I found all those mods but the way should be installed looks a bit weird (no pun intended!!) as I use the JSGME (Generic Mod Enabler) for Silent Hunter 3 and 4 mods.

Any chance that IL-2 mods would use this "mod installer" or simply impossible? I asked 'cos JSGME is transparent and a very nice way to install/uninstall mods.

Thanks a lot.

Ultr@Pack Mods use JSGME, so obviously it is possible. I tried it out about a year ago, and what I didn't like about it was having to keep track of which mods you had to add before or after another.
Not sure how compatible it is with AAA system overall, even though they use a lot of the same mods.

Oh, it is definitely compatible. I use it for AAA mods, but you have to name your JSGM mods folder something other than "mods."

Also, you have to make VERY sure that you have jsgme copying the mod to the right folder & that all files copied (such as readme's) do not conflict.
