I am new to AAA. I have installed the universal installer and would like to install the Typhoon Mod By Ranswars. Can someone give me a step by step walk thru?

I want to get the Hawker Typhoon mod in AAA UI 1.1 too. So, i'll watch the comments here.

ok, first off ensure you've got the latest ac installer, currently it's version 3.8.
Then open your air.ini file. It's in MODS\STD\com\maddox\il2\objects.
add this line to it:
TyphoonMkIB air.TYPHOON1B 1 NOINFO gb01 SUMMER
just copy and paste it. Depending on where you paste it will depend on where the aircraft appears in the in-game lists (eg in QMB). Best to put it in its alphabetical place. Save the air.ini file.
Then open planes.ru (located in MODS\STD\i18n ) and paste this line:
TyphoonMkIB Typhoon MK.IB, 1942
Save the file.
Open the weapons.ru file, located in the same place as the air.ru file and paste this line on the bottom of the list:

#####################################################################
TyphoonMkIB.default Default
TyphoonMkIB.light Lightened
TyphoonMkIB.2xdt 2xDroptank
TyphoonMkIB.2x500 2x500 lb. Bombs
TyphoonMkIB.2x1000 2x1000 lb. Bombs
TyphoonMkIB.8x5 8x60 lb. Rockets
TyphoonMkIB.none Empty
Then create a folder in paintschemes\skins and name it:
TyphoonMkIB
Hopefully, the plane will now be available for qmb and everything else!

Hi I have a little prob I installed the typhoon ane did all as on read txt The plane installed but when i start it my controls do not work not even keyboard work Do you have any suggestions Would really appreciate the help thanks A few buttons work like eject fly-by view But no guns
