P-40 sound mod teaser - BillSwagger - 15.09.2009

sorry i couldn't resist.

Redone exteranal P-40 sounds:

includes theatrical effects for surround sound (not in game)



Slow motion pass (100% game)



Still finishing up the interior sounds, including the radiator whistle which increases with speed. Really subtle additions to the great sounds of the current mod.

EDIT:

I need some outside opinion on this. I 've added some sounds which include the radiator whistle at higher speeds as well as some prop noise outside the craft.

I hope you don't mind be being a bit of a criticaster here, Billswagger.

It sounds awesome, but i think the whistlesound appears slightly too soon and increases a bit too fast in relation to the speed of the aircraft.
If you can slow that down just a bit more, i think it would be better.

You asked for an outsider's opinion


Apart from that, it sounds just great..

I don't mind the criticism, so long as it is constructive.

So thanks for the feedback.

I will have this mod finished soon, but i would like to do the same for the A6m and release them together.



as for the 50 cals those still need some work, as you can tell, and i'm trying to find a way where they are less effected by the pitch as the plane moves toward/away from the subject.
