Bf110E W.Nr.3866 Hans Joachim-Jabs, Staffelkapitan 6./ZG76 - No1_Charlie - 20.09.2009

Based at Crete in 1941. Depicting the first type of Bf110E that saw service in the mediterranean. An auxiliary oil tank canbe seen beneath the fuselage with auxiliary fuel tanks under the wings. I chose to build this one as it looked very business like and I love those shark mouth (Haifisch). The engine detail set is aftermarket and makes a nice addition but was bereft of wiring so I used lead solder for the plumbing etc.

The airfield equipment was added to the base as a last resort as the 110 looked rather bland on its own. 1:48 scale.
