... moved to betas until some minor things resolved ..

this is what needs to be done :

1 file structure for custom textures :

...\MODS\MAPMODS\Maps\_Tex\ "your prefix" \ " anything you like "

edit load.ini accordingly

2 d/l thread must include clear install instructions along with game version (4.08 /4.9...) so you should edit it .

also please compile your pack in the way inexperienced users could comprehend it without too much trouble

... place your files in MODS\MAPMODS\Maps\ ... .... and then compile rar/zip archive

then your install instruction could look like this :

1 extract to temp location
2 copy MODS folder to your main game directory ( IL2 1946 or whatever you have it named)
3 add line from readme.txt to all.ini (MODS\MAPMODS\Maps\all.ini )

------------------------

please let me know when it's done (PM) and i'll move this back to map download section

regards
Z

Vinvin
Congratulations on your map.
May I say that in terms of how I select what maps I will use, after historical import which is my personal prime factor, I would like to see an image of the map itself on the thread, so I can assess how I might be able to use it in FMB and QMB.
I look forward to the finished product.
