It should be rather easy to replace the standard load.ini with a 'winterized' load.ini.

Take the load.ini from mbugs Slovakia winter for instance and use it on the Bessarbia map. First time around the texture slots may not be optimal, but with some fiddling around of texture lines in the load.ini, you should be able to get something very nice and wintry looking.

I once made several less greenish tinted load.ini's for Bessarabia_beta and they looked really nice. So a winter map ought to be easy to do.
