Gamma Control - Guest - 26.09.2009
S! all
I have seen that a few people are using gamma control, so I dowloaded it to try out. I have set my preferences etc, but it doesn't seem to have an effect? Can anyone help me?

If you're talkin' about GAPA...before saving your settings named them at your choice and assigne an hotkey. Then, runnin' Gapa in background, select you desired profile via hotkeys. Personally I've 4 preset profile (thanks to Avala and redko under Avala's Benghally thread) with F8/F9/F10/F11 assigned keys.

I've done that, but it seems to have no effect :-? I press my hotkey, the screen flashes, but then reverts back to the original settings...

I've supposed you've done that.
Sorry but I've no solution. Try to ask Avala for that strange prob.
Cheers

Ok, thanks

Strange...
Of course you run gapa before launching the game right?
Even if not you would be able to run it after so it doesn't explain why you have any change.
How do you proceed excatly?

I dowloaded your insall and saved it to my documents. Double clicked on the application, selected your setting: the screen flashed and then reverted back to norma;. Since then I have deleted the files, but now I can't control the colour management in my ATI control panel... :-?
EDIT: I re-started my PC, and everything is fine now. i don't need Gamma Control as I can everything with my ATI control panel, and I am experiencing your beautiful, if not bright, gamma settings
Thanks for the help chaps
