the game loads fine but win i get to the game tipe page cant do eney thing cant slect game tipe single ,campine, online ...
on windows vista 64
the game worked fine till i loaded aaa ui thin it started to load bad some times now all the time
can eney one help me with this

It only happens when loading the modded game, right? Well, i'm having a similar problem, but there's a way to deal with it:
Before you double-click the icon, close all other windows and don't do anything until the game loads.
If this doesn't do it, then (yep, strange, but it works) alt+ctrl+del out onto the desktop, then get back into the game and REPEAT the process one more time. That should do it.

Mouse freeze up?

If so then---

Ctrl+alt+del

Click on applications
Right click on IL2 and minimise.
Close Task manager

Click on IL-2 on Task Bar

Should then be ok.

If your keyboard has a WINDOWS key you can use that also. Click it and it takes you to dest top
then click IL-2 on the task bar. mouse works then.
