Two B-17F Mods - 3rd-BG_Dreadpilot - 28.09.2009
Howdy Ya'll!
I have two mods for the b-17 which I I like however they sort've cancel each other out. The first mod is the Visual mod for the b-17f which does some cosmetic things to the outside and add an inactive ventral gunner behind the top-turret. The second is the b-17 cockpit mod which adds those
excelent cockpits to the e, f, and g models. I had the Cockpits mod installed first but when I installed the visual mod the cockpit reverted back to the b-25 cockpit. In the MODs folder the two conflicting folders are the "cockpit_B17F" folder and the new "B17F" folder. Would somebody know a way to have both the cockpit and visual mods? Thanks for any help on this.

try making a new folder in the mods folder, and take the modname\3do\plane folder from the details mod, and the modname\3do\cockpit folder from the cockpit mod? don't blame me if it doesn't work, but thats what seems most likely without being able to see the mods myself. the end result should be modname\3do\cockpits (from details mod) and plane (from cockpit mod) so that both cockpit and plane folders are in the 3do folder.

Personally, I'd like to see all the B-17's, B-24's, and B-29's brought up to par with the new planes being released here like the new B-25's. I'd love to see a YB-40 too...

Amen to that

I'll give it a shot, maybe if it works somebody could use it to compile the best mods for each aircraft. :!:
