Installation disc with v. 4.09 and mods? - Triumph66 - 04.10.2009

How can I create DVD disc(s) to install Il-2 v.4.09 with mods without bothering to go through all the steps?
That is - a one-click installation and not having to install one-by-one v.4.07,then v.4.08,then v.4.09,then mods etc.
As my Il-2 folder is already over 10 GB,it would have to be 2 or 3 discs.
Or is it just a matter of making a back-up of the folder and copying it into the new system?
This would be helpful in case of a computer crash or reformat.
Thanks.

S!

Easiest way is to make your IL-2 installation the one you want it to be, like all mods etc installed. Then just make a copy of it to a safe place. You can then just copy/paste it back if you want to play as IL2 seems to work just fine. My .02

Thank-you,that seems to work. Now,that leads me to another question.
Why is it then that most programs require you to,for lack of a better word,"imbed" them into the system? This includes the original Il-2 install.
To remove them you must use uninstall option. It seems to me that a simple "delete folder" would suffice.
Thanks for any clarification.
