Problems with .ntrk files - Oscarito - 07.10.2009

When I run a .ntrk file I usually notice that vehicles and armor show intermitent movement. Planes use to "sink" the tails on the ground during take off, soldiers no more run from their trucks when straffed, among other undesirable surprises! Please, can somebody tell me about the reasons for these and how to fix these bugs?

PS.: I don't use ".trk" files anymore because they seems to be completely useless!!

I've been seeing the same things since I began using the Steam version of IL2. Do you use the Steam version?

There is an even more disturbing thing happening...the skins you use do not show up in the Steam version tracks and .ntrk. If you make a track in the Steam version the skins do not show up in the DVD version.

Be forewarned I have made some pretty nice tracks to put in my "America's Ace of Aces" campaign and spent many an hour on them only to find out that the skins don't show up. Very disappointing.

As of now I think this should be a sticky.

Don't use the Steam version for tracks!
