Skins not showing up in Steam version tracks - Hairog - 07.10.2009

I've been working on tracks for my updated campaign "Americas Ace of Aces". I've been using the Steam version of IL2 for some of the tracks when I noticed that the skins I put on the models do not show up in the playback of the tracks.

Disaster!!!!!!!

Everything is fine on my old DVD installed version on my Vista machine but not on the Steam version.

To make matters worse the tracks I did on the Steam version and play on my DVD version have no skins either.

The skins are very important to the story line of the campaign and I dread having to re-do the tracks.

Anyone have any ideas?

I think possibly, you have to check Network Settings, and make certain Skin Downloads is turned on.

That wasn't the answer but thanks for trying. Both the Network settings and the skin downloads were fine. As I said the skins are fine until you replay the track or NTRK then they disappear.

Can someone that has the Steam version please see if they can replicate my findings. Could you make a track using skins and see if they show up in the playback? That would at least determine if it is just my problem or a wider one.
