well im new to installing mods and i want to know how i can install them and get them to work...
if you guys could help me that would be great.

i have il2 1946 with patch 4.08

Go into Unified Installer section of this forum, which is the first topic, and download all 8 of the downloads. then install the first one and it will automaticlly read all 8 of the downloads. Be aware that downloading and installing this normally takes hours for most ppl. Sometimes as much as 4-6 hours. But make no mistake, it is definitly worth ever minute of your time. The UI (unified installer) opens up a world of mods that will suprize and amaze you eveyday. PPL here will never stop making new and amazing additions to IL-2.

Be sure to DL all 8 parts to one folder.Follow the directions carefully.Then u can add more of the awesome mods here.Holy grail has some good stuff.

Go to the UI download section here:

viewforum.php?f=58

And download all parts to the UI. Once downloaded, run the first file and it will extract to your Il-2 1946 Core Folder.

Once finished, go here:

viewforum.php?f=92

To fix any bugs that came with the UI (No one is perfect )

Now to mods,

Download your mods, Read the read me as you may have to add lines of texts, It will all be noted down where to find them. And drop those folders into the MODS folder.

Simple as that.
