Bombing Question - =BOD=Thing - 09.10.2009

So I'm trackin how to use the bombsight on the B-25J, norden...got it. But in other games (like B-17G flying Fortress the Mighty 8th) when you take over control of the bombsight, the AI takes over for you on the controls, so you can focus on the bomb run. I have tried going into the mission editor and setting waypoints for the autopilot to fly, but i cant have it on auto pilot if i want to make the bomb run, besides the sucker just porpoises +/- 500ft from the selected altitude. So is there a way to make the AI fly the plane so i can concentrate on the bomb run?

BOD,

Level Stabilizer is the function your after ...

Which is applicable with most 2 engined & all 4 engined aircraft within this sim I think ... you'll need to look through your control set up & assign a key for that function (Level Stabilizer) ... if you haven't already done so.

Go into your CONTROLS and set a key for

" level stabilizer"

that will keep you plane flying level. use the
rudder trim to turn you a little right or left to get you
over your target area.
