X52 disassembly - Jim Beam - 11.10.2009

Hello, my old X52 has some problems in the control stick, the upper hat switch, and the next two buttons, they don't work. As the potenciometers of the two rotarys of the throttle don't work well, and I want to clean them.

So I decided to disassembly it, but I need to know before if there is a guide to do it properly.

Somebody knows?

Thanks

S!

I checked the forums, faq, etc from the web of Saitek. It was the first step I made. Nothing about disassembly. The joy is already off warranty, I bought it several years ago.

And then, somebody has a clue to get a guide to disassembly the joy?

Thanks again

S!

sell it at a garage sale. Course mention the defects.

and get one of these. Not a big investment.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll try to fix the x52 by myself, and if something goes wrong... I'll buy another, maybe the Logitech G940.

Surprises me that nobody knows to disassembly the x52.
