At the moment, the barge objects are just that; objects. You don't get points for them, and they don't move. Is it possible to make them proper ships, so we can have more realistic river traffic?

Do you mean objects 562, 563, 508, 509? --- the IL2 1946 barge objects.

These could be introduced as small ship objects but few of the rivers on the map are "navigable", so they would still mainly appear as static ships. The main problem with creating more realistic river traffic is the limitations in mapping. Only large rivers can be made navigable.
